> 224 Lucky Curve in Black Chased

Here is a very nice (considering its age its excellent) 224 Lucky Curve in black chased finish with a very readable imprint; this pen is pre Duofold from about 1918-1920 and is what is known as a Jack-Knife, I believe; sometimes the caps have Jack-Knife engraved on them and sometimes, alledgedly, not; the pen has been used so has a few small marks consistent with that use but it is not damaged and any new owner will be thrilled with it; it has a beautiful medium grade 14ct gold Lucky Curve No.4 nib which is nice to write with; the pen has obviously been well looked after as the serrations on the blind cap and the clip screw are still there, albeit a little worn, and the surface chasing is remarkable; there are little or no signs of plating wear and no signs of posting wear. Please be aware that this pen has not been serviced as I believe it is too precious, historically, to be used.
