Here is a very nice (but worn) 2½ Jack-Knife in black chased finish with an unreadable imprint; this pen is pre Duofold from about 1918-1920 and is what is known as a Jack-Knife, I believe; sometimes the caps have Jack-Knife engraved on them and sometimes, alledgedly, not; the pen has been used so is quite worn and it has a small crack on the nib going sideways from the piercing hole. Please be aware that this pen has not been serviced as I believe it is too precious, historically, to be used.
