They don't get much nicer than this 9ct-gold plain-finish overlaid pen and they certainly don't come along too often; this one is in good mechanical condition; there is a little light bruising on the cap top but its hardly noticeable; there are just a few little bruises on the barrel; the imprint on the overlay on both the cap and the barrel are clear to see. The nib is a medium grade 14ct gold No.2 and writes nicely with a bit of flexibility; there is no name or initials on the cartouche. The pen is an lever-filler so just needs filling with ink, if you should care to use it, and off you go..
