They don't get much nicer than this 9ct-gold plain-finish overlaid pen and they certainly don't come along too often; this one is in good mechanical condition; there are a few little bruises on the cap and the barrel including the one shown in the sixth picture; there are just a few little bruises on the barrel; the imprint on the overlay on both the cap top and the barrel are clear to see. The nib is a broad oblique grade 14ct gold No.2 and writes nicely with a bit of flexibility; there is no name or initials on the cartouche. The pen is a lever-filler so just needs filling with ink; it is a pan to be used rather than in a prestigious collection.
